Sponsorship
I love to support small business, friends and passionate craftspeople.
This build is going to be a very public process and I will be sharing all of it with as many friends, supporters and publications as possible. I would love to work with very passionate people and companies as I work through this adventure and I will need help.
I have worked in the marketing communications field for over 20 years and have the knowledge and experience to work with partners to help support their investments in ways that will benefit all.
All sponsorships, contributions and support will be very publicly shared through the entire process and larger sponsorships will be coordinated in a way that will clearly define what each sponsor will receive for their support. This will be coordinated and agreed by both the sponsor and Scott Photo Co. so that everyone is clear on expectations and outcomes.
Another option for supporting this effort is some kind of trade work in kind. I am an experienced business strategist, art director/designer, writer and photographer. I have worked on and led business for companies like SONY, Miller Brewing Company, PepsiCo., Nike and many others from mid-sized to small entrepreneur driven start-ups. I’m really good at this stuff and can back it up with world-class work.
Whatever level of interest and support you may be able to engage I would love to talk with you and see how we can help each other. Please tap the CONTACT button, email tim.scott@scottphoto.co (not .com) or call me directly at (310) 904-6577.
Thank you for you time and consideration.

A lot of times when people hear the word “sponsor” they think that it’s only the people/companies that will give you free stuff. For me anyway, that’s not the case. Perhaps a more appropriate term would be partnership. I have committed to only surrounding myself with people I admire and respect and only supporting companies that I believe in. Timmy McMaster and his company Hanford Auto Supply is a perfect example.
I met Timmy for the first time years ago when I was on a trip with The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop from Bonneville to El Mirage for some hot rod shenanigans. The Rolling Bones Circus caravan was nearly to El Mirage when the 232b roadster developed an issue with the transmission. Ken Schmidt made a call as parts were needed. Later that night Timmy McMaster arrived, and he a couple of others fixed the issue in the parking lot of the motel. Here's the thing, Timmy lives in Hanford, California – over 200 miles from where we were. In a moment’s notice he dropped everything, grabbed necessary parts and drove 213 miles to help friends. This is what hot rodding is all about.
I have been lucky enough to get to know Timmy in the following years and have seen first-hand his passion and dedication to family, engine building and all things speed. To be able to partner with people like Timmy, a friend and inspiration to me, makes this build even more special to me.
e. Black Design Co.
A blank canvas. A clean slate. A new beginning.
Eric Black (eBDCo) is a designer, but not just a designer. There is something magical and inspiring to me in his work. For years I have followed his work and every time I see something new I get that feeling that I used to have as a young creative. That desire to create, the inspiration to step away self doubt and the strong drive to create things at the amazing level of creativity that Eric does in his work.
This is the beginning of a creative exploration of what might be. This is square one. Even just seeing this makes me want to go outside and work non-stop on this build until it’s what it deserves to be. I am really hoping that this project will end up to be a key piece in bringing together people, stories, photographs and lasting physical memories of all of the people that I am blessed to encounter as I hit the road to meet them, to tell their stories and photograph their passions. Thank you, Eric, for being a part of this dream.
